The Caribbean has thousands of islands (yes, really thousands.) All of these islands offer incredible beaches, crystal clear waters, and luxury beyond compare. How are you supposed to chose the perfect destination for you?  Here is our quick and dirty guide to finding your perfect match.

Barbados

Perfect for Foodies

All Caribbean islands have their own foodie culture, but Barbados is the only island with a Zagat Guide!  Restaurants serve up everything from West Indian fusion cuisine to elegant Italian and Asian dining

Resorts Jessie Recommends for Barbados: Cobblers Cove, Sandals Royal Barbados, and Shady Lane Hotel

Bonaire

Perfect for Divers:

Bonaire’s protected coral reefs are home to 57 species of coral and at least 350 fish species. SCUBA divers and snorkelers can enjoy more than 86 dive sites around the islands of Bonaire and Klein Bonaire, including the famous 1,000 Steps and Buddy’s Reef.

Resorts Jessie Recommends for Bonaire: Bellefonte Bonaire, Van der Valk Plaza Beach and Dive Resort, and Delfins Beach Resort.

Puerto Rico

Perfect for Dancing the Night Away

Puerto Rico happens to be the home of Hamilton's Lin Manuel Miranda!  From reggae to soca, calypso to zouk, Caribbean music is famous around the world. In Puerto Rico, locals and visitors sway to a Latin beat ’til the wee hours of the morning in the Caribbean’s de facto capital city, San Juan, and beyond.

Resorts Jessie Recommends for Puerto Rico: St Regis Bahia Beach Resort, Dorado Beach a Ritz Carlton Reserve, and the Ritz Carlton San Juan.

Aruba

Perfect for Family Bonding

Aruba a great place to bring the kids, only the most jaded of whom will be bored on an island where activities range from the usual array of resort-area water sports (diving, jet-skis, parasailing, etc.) to submarine tours and explorations of Aruba’s desert landscape by horseback, Jeep, or ATV.

Resorts Jessie Recommends for Aruba: Bucuti and Tara Beach Resort, Hyatt Regency Aruba and Ritz Carleton Aruba.
