Pre-Wedding Trip and Wedding Dress Shopping: It is almost impossible to get the feel of a venue without seeing it in person. So why not take a quick trip with your Bride Tribe to Italy? You can tour all the gorgeous wedding venues, end your journey in Milan, and find your perfect dress in the most incredible wedding shops in the world.

Hire a Local Planner for Legal Ceremonies: A seasoned planner can help you navigate Italian bureaucracy and understand the local wedding scene. A knowledgeable planner can assist you in navigating Italian bureaucracy and understanding the local wedding industry. I recommend Amore Weddings Italy.

Hire a US-based Wedding Manager: A seasoned pro near you will enable you to offload some of the planning and communication with your Italian vendors. I recommend Heather from 27 Social Events and Design and Dana from Thyme and Details. Both ladies are excellent resources and will make your planning as smooth as silk.

Take a Local Photographer: Italy has fantastic photographers, but your wedding is unique, and you need a photographer who understands you. That connection can't be established in a weekend. Find a local photographer you love and ask them to travel to Florence. I love and highly recommend Veronica Sparrow Photography and Tara Lynn Photography; they love to travel and would be thrilled to help you perfect your wedding vision.

Consider the Season: Spring and early autumn are the most popular (and beautiful) times for a wedding, and summer crowds won't be an issue. If the ceremony is in Tuscany, consider a villa buyout. Then, you will have the whole place to yourselves.

Transportation Logistics: You will most likely fly into Florence Airport (FLR). If you are getting married in Tuscany, you must take a tram, train, or car. It might feel overwhelming after a long day of traveling and continuing to Tuscany. I recommend spending a few nights in Florence; it is gorgeous and has many things to see.

Local Culture and Traditions: Florence boasts a rich cultural heritage. Consider incorporating local customs and traditions into your wedding ceremony to create a unique and meaningful experience.

Planning a wedding abroad can feel overwhelming, but with the proper guidance, it can also be a seamless and enjoyable process.
