I advise against this. Jade Mountain is small (only 29 sanctuaries) and usually wholly booked. If a private pool is essential, book a room with a pool.

The pools aren't heated and can be cold even during the summer.
Many bridges and walkways connect the sanctuaries with the central part of the resort. If you have mobility issues, this might not be the best choice.
The birds can be LOUD; use the earplugs they give you!
Jade Mountain is not on the beach. It hares beach space with its sister resort, Anse Chastnet. During high season, the beach can be pretty crowded.
Rooms higher on the cliff overlook the lower rooms, so privacy can be an issue.
The beach isn't particularly large or beautiful.
The only public pool at Jade Mountain is in the restaurant, so guests staying in the Sky Whirlpool suites don't have a viable pool option at Jade Mountain (unless you don't mind swimming while other people are having dinner.)
If Piton views are your number one requirement for a St Lucia resort, Sugar Beach or Ladera might be better choices.
